Moscow Elks Golf Course Superintendent
This 80 year old 9-hole course is nestled in the heart of the Palouse in Moscow, Idaho. We are looking for a new superintendent to take over management of the course. If you are looking for an opportunity to move to North Idaho and be involved in a friendly community and family oriented environment, this is it! The opportunity is a 12 month contract with time off from Thanksgiving to February 15th. Given we are a small course, the superintendent needs a broad skillset. Beyond basic turf management, needs golf equipment maintenance mechanics, Toro irrigation system knowledge and repair, and people skills to manage part-time golf course staff (peak season help). In addition, given we are an Elks Club part of our mission is volunteerism. You will have access to many volunteers to be used at your discretion.
Starting base salary range is $45,000 to $52,000 and the potential to earn an additional 10% bonus based on jointly agreed to criteria and course objectives. Bonus paid on or before December 15th. In addition, the Elks will pay your annual GCSA dues. If out of the area we are also offering a $2,000 moving allowance to help with relocation costs. Requested start date is February 15, 2025.
